KANEKO Camps / Video Game Design: Minecraft Edition

This event is no longer on sale.

Tuesday May 30

9:00 AM  –  4:00 PM

Much more than a simple game, Minecraft is an open world immersive environment that promotes creativity, collaboration, and problem solving. Campers will be introduced to game theory, learn about rule-based systems and interactive narrative design, practice creating games collaboratively, and explore what it means to engage in meaningful play. Students will create mini-games, worlds, logic puzzles and more through the Minecraft game engine to grow their skills in game-creation and design.

Camps are for ages 12 – 15

Registration is $225 ($200 for KANEKO Members) and includes all materials and lunches, as well as a KANEKO Camp t-shirt and notebook. *Members must "SIGN IN" to the top right corner of this page to claim your membership rate*
